Each year more Australians die with kidney related disease than breast cancer, prostate cancer and even road deaths. Sadly, 1 in 3 Australians is at increased risk of kidney disease and an estimated 1.7 million Australians over the age of 25 already have at least one clinical sign of existing kidney disease. It's a very important health issue.

As I start to count down to my Big Red Kidney Walk, I invite you to cheer me on and to dig deep to help me reach my personal fundraising goal.

Specifically, funds from this event are devoted to key research priorities, which will continue to drive health policy and advance programs that change and save the lives of those impacted by kidney disease.
